I of course already thoroughly checked all of those resources for an answer. Had I found one I would not have asked here.
Is there perhaps another more appropriate forum for direct answers to user questions?
Thank you,

edit negafix curve?

When I go to expert mode and click pencil to edit a film curve, I can not get it to stick. If I hit the pencil again to "end" editing, it simply reverts to the original curve. Is the only way to edit the curve and make a scan to save it?
Thank you

I emailed the address you gave asking if I could send an attachment with the items you mentioned as it's a bit large.
Is there some way to get them to answer?

HDR RGB banding

I am getting bad banding in RGB HDR tiffs, in all three channels. This doesn't occur in grayscale HDR tiffs, in either white or single channel. It also doesn't occur if the identical scan is done in Photoshop, non HDR.

Hi bit gray with Howtek 4500

In working with hi bit grayscale scans of B&W negs with Silverfast and a Howtek 4500, I've run into some problems. In Photoshop, moderate curve edits seemed to give me gaps in the histogram unexpected with 16 bit files. I went back and tried every conceivable way of scanning provided by the software...
