So I have Nikon Coolscan 8000 with newest version of Ai6. I'm on a G4 dual GhZ running OS 10.3.2 with 1.75 GB of RAM with 1.2GB allocated to Photoshop. I have scanning 6x6 and 6x7 negs no problem for the last month and just recently been having problems with the negs perfectly lining up. error at scan start

Yes i too have been getting this message "error at scan start, cannot measure ...." now after scanning for the last month with no problems. Also I can't get the negs to perfectly line up as well as they did when I got the 8000 1 month ago. I am all up to date with Ai. :o What's up?!?

Dust and Scratch Removal

How come when I go through all the trouble of using SRD and when the file is scanning and the dust/scratch progress bar comes up and when the photo comes into PHOTOSHOP none of the scratches are fixed, everything is the same. HELP!!!!!! :roll: :roll:
