I'm was using 8.2.0r3 which should be the latest Version according to your Website.
Thanks, the reset helped.
Best regards

Image Resolution Entry gone
After do some back and forth the window/Entry area at the left side for entering the "Bild Dimensionen" was gone.
How can I get it back on the Screen?
I do not know how it went away.

It seems to be worth a lot
As you can see the upgrade seem to be worth so much that it
is even more expensive than the regular version ;-)

Negafix in HDR Studio (prob. also others)
I have several problems with Negafix in HDR Studio 6.4.0.r8. First the histograms do not always show in the expert menu. Sometimes they show sometimes not. Then it also happens that the curves in the expert menu do not show. Switching on/off the edit function show them again. I get also strange resu...

Hi I have the problem that the full screen preview and the USM preview do not show the preview contents with the changes I performed.
Both are much darker.

Hi, thats a very good question, quite a number of controls are not documented in detail and one has to figure out how the influence the results (gamma setting in SF HDR is one example). The following what I say is guessing on observations: I think Negafix works the following way: - it analyses the h...

I second the request again (nearly half a year later). I have four different versions of silverfast now. I will move to two new scanner's in the near future. I expect that a cross upgrade would be available at the same level as an upgrade to an earlier version. To be honest, if nothing happens in th...

Handling gamma option for different pos/neg slide/reflection
I used different gamma values in the options dialog for the different scan types e.g. B&W negatives, Slides, Reflection. I even profile with the different gamma values. Because the options are a litte bit hidden it's easy to forget to change the gamma value according to the e.g. pos/neg setting....

Hi, I think the thing which has changed (without note, at least I did not get it) was that the calibration configuration is no more there, which means that you always have to select an ICC file which is generated by the calibration. I run HDR 6.0.2r31 and the CMS window under options looks like this...

Hi, thats not the point, the point is that if you generate a 24bit file with gamma 2.2 and you setup HDR for gamma 2.2 and gamma in HDR 2.2, at least I assume that the gamma is not changed when I open a picture. But in reality it is changed because HDR seems to assume (at least I did not find it doc...

Gamma for 24bit data
It costed me quite some time (for others it may have been obvious or they do not care because they use just 16bit inputdata) to figure out that the configuration in options "Gamma in HDR Data" is just valid for 48bit files and for 24bit files always 1.8 is assumed. This is important for digital came...
