Everything worked great a month ago with my Nikon LS 8000 ED (Mac v10.5.7) (SFv6.6.0) Ai Studio. "Vertical Banding Lines" in Nikon 8000 scans

I'm wondering if anyone else using Nikon 8000 scanner is having problems with "band lines" in hi-res scans? This problem seems to come and go. Sometimes the lines appear mostly in (rgb) green channel, other times in the blue channel. The lines always run vertically. Also, the banding usually appears...
