The first thing I which comes to my mind is to check whether the scanner has the latest firmware on it. There were updates available for this model- please contact Microtek for further information.

I have not had a customer with this problem. I suggest you check if you get s similar problem with the Scanwizard software, and if you do, contact Microtek or the 1394 controller- manufacturer for support.

The Silverfast 6.5 or higher Photoshop-plugin version supports Photoshop Elements 4.0. If oyu have an older Silverfast version, you can install the Twain plugin- this can be used with Elements as well.

You can either buy the V750 model, which is bundled with the AI version, or contact us regarding upgrading to the AI version from the included SE.
We unfortunately cannot comment on hardware performance- I suggest you take a look at reviews in photography forums on the internet.

Try deleting the "nikon"- folder inside library/application support, Then run the Silverfast installer again. If the issue persists, please report it via our support-contact form.
