Is it possible to run Silverfast 6.x in Windows with Parallels, using the same license number as I have for the Mac, until I can get this sorted out? It would be on the same machine. I am getting a new scanner and want to use the crossgrade option to purchase AI Studio for the new scanner. Will I be able to include my current Silverfast Ai Studio in the sale of my old scanner, and transfer that to the new owner?

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one confused as to settings; the more I read, the less I understand. So if I understand the answer, and looking at SF after doing a reset-to-defaults, the "normal Q-factor" is 1.5 and the screen is 450? At least that's what I see, having done a reset-to-def...

Do I correctly understand then that a Kodak or a Fuji transparency target will be fine for any type of slide film other than Kodachrome? How about target size: if I scan 35mm, 6x7 and 6x9 on the same scanner, will I need only one target (e.g., I can use the 35mm target to calibrate, then insert 6x7 ...

Using Studio on Multiscan Pro (OS X 10.3), and can't get Digital ICE to work (had emailed suport). Using positive film (Velvia) setting, I get mesage that ICE doesn't work with B&W. I see no settings which would tell it I am using B&W.
