Rosetta

Actually, if I change the engine of my car to perform better, I don't use a handbreak to slow it down.

Since I do some programming myself - the change from CodeWarrier (or whatever you're using) to Xcode isn't that much of hard work. IMHO.

HDR - Universal Binary

Since HDR isn't dependable on vendor specific libraries - can we expect a Universal Binary update any time soon?

hdr problems

hi, i have run into problems using silverfast ai/hdr (v6.2.1r1) recently: i'm scanning my slides with silverfast ai into 48bit hdr files with a minolta dimage scan elite 5400 /w 2700 dpi. loading these hdr files into silverfast hdr gives artefacts on the whole image within the preview and after proc...

Technical Pan

I know that this film is not yet supported, but is there a chance that a negafix profile will be available in the (near) future? else: does anyone know if another profile comes near? I'm using the current version of SilverFast HDR (6.2.0r6).

hi, i understand that there might be some quality issues, but since the image has to be rotated anyway due to misorientation - why not in silverfast. at least, i always have the raw data to re-process the images anyway. so, during the scan the highest possible quality would be reserved. best regards...

rotating scans

hi, i'm trying to optimize my workflow with hdr. so, scanning all slides with silverfast ai in raw mode and then process them with hdr. since with mounting the slides there may be a small degree of misorientation, why isn't it possible to rotate the raw files in small angles, so i can make the right...

still no news?

hi,

you got another email, but there still isn't any response from your side (not even that you're working on the problem). that's a bit frustrating, since i paid for the software and can't use it. :-(

scan failures

i'm a bit disappointed with the release of silverfast for the minolta scan elite 5400. i get the following problems on a regular basis: it seems that during a film scan silverfast get's communication error with the scanner which it doesn't recognize. sf then fills the rest of the image with the last...
