Re: OS X Lion and Localization

Hi

In some of my last posts, I already asked you for a list of scanners supported by V8. Is there such a list?

e.g. supported scanners, scanners you are still investigating/working on, not supported scanners

Re: OS X Lion and Localization

Some statements here I absolutely disagree with (taken from this task): Customer: - give me a solution now, I have a mission critical project and can't wait one month => but you had the time to download a new operating system that could render you whole computer useless, some people just like the ri...

Re: OS X Lion and Localization

Rumors and at least one user confirmed (http://www.heise.de/mac-and-i/news/foren/S-Wer-Rosetta-braucht/forum-205855/msg-20534542/read/) that rosetta can be installed on Lion. Just install it from your original Snow Leopard DVD. (Link in German) Somebody with Lion and Silverfast software might test a...

Re: OS X Lion and Localization

Is there a list of what scanners will be supported with SilverFast 8 on OS X? Being one month away from the release, you might have an idea.

Re: Scans are to dark

I have to check 48 or 64 bit scans and some automatic post processing, but this would include some additional steps. Actually any changes you perform in the histogram will be ...

Re: Scans are to dark

Hi there Result so far: the scans a way to dark! Are you scanning in 48 bit HDR or 64 bit HDRi? If you are, you are getting raw files with a linear gamma gradation. I use 48 -> 24 bit, no HDR(i). - is there some (hidden) feature to brighten up the images? Well, there are many ways to brighten up th...

Scans are too dark

Hi Just spent my first weekend with a Reflecta DigitDia 5000 and SilverFast Ai Studio. Result so far: the scans a way to dark! So two questions: - is there some (hidden) feature to brighten up the images? - there is a auto correction function, that works in the correct direction (changes in histogra...

Overview of saved options

Hi Is there some overview on what option can be saved within what dialog? For me, it's absolutely a miracle, where which option is save and where I can use it again. An overview would be extremely helpful! I read somewhere about a redesign of the user interface, this might end my struggle with the d...
