Re: 8.0.1r15 - JPG output is not supported?
Dear dimage. Thx for the feedback. It feels good to see that our users can confirm our improvements (and efforts). Running the software inside a testing environment is one thing but then the software has to prove itself on "the outside", too. Improving the performance of SRD is currently i...

Re: 8.0.1r15 - JPG output is not supported?
Dear dimage,
Jpeg output is supported in 24bit mode only. For 48bit images I recommend JPG2000 if you don't want to save it as Tiff.
Best,
Jan

Dear Berra,
in the lower left corner of the rgistration dialogue window, there's a little button which you can tick.
That will do just what you want.

Hallo,

Re: Results
Well, when moving the mid-tone slider (in histogram) to the left, the image usually (SF HDR 6.6, Photoshop, ....) gets brighter, not darker. Hi, we implemented an additive interpretation to the midtone-slider of the histogram in SF8. SF 6.6 as well as Photoshop's interpretation of the midtones is b...

Re: Colour Management and Profiles for ICM
Hi, before getting into the details I'm a little bit confused by your screenshot from the CMS-settings. Under Input--> Internal it currently says <None>. It should say <Use embedded profile>, which is the scanner/input profile. This way you assigned the working space AdobeRGB or ProPhotoRGB directly...

Re: Kodachrome
Hi, the quantification of quality is always a hard job ;-) Seriously, by doing an individual calibration with a genuine LaserSoft Imaging Kodachrome IT8-target you will replace the canned Kodachrome profile from the installation with a custom one calculated for your particular scanner as a result of...

Re: Loading Photo
Hi, do you think you can upload the image that creates the problem somewhere for us to verify? We can't reproduce this here with any of our testing images. I understand if that would be critical for you but we frankly can't fix anaything that we can't verify
.

Re: Better scans with Silverfast 8?
Peter, apology for the delay with an answer to your "million dollar question". The answer is plain and simple --> Yes! We have to keep in mind though that scanning results are strongly dependent on the scanning hardware. That means (and you probably knew that) if you were to do a plain fin...

Re: HDR Studio
Dear Kent, thanks for your feedback. I'm excited to get this prerelease forum kickstarted and collect feedback and input from our users here. This forum will be most valuable for us to create the software roadmap for the development of HDR Studio 8. Of course the VLT is probably one of the biggest s...
