Thank you for these interesting tips.
What problems do you have using SolverFast for negative films? I cannot believe that positive scanned and invert scans are better than NegaFix results,

Dear Gregory, You answer the solution for your problem by yourself. On Mac the monitor profile is set to 1.8 by default. So the behaviour you explain is exact what I would expect. Please set your gamma settings on your monitor and in SilverFast to same value and your prints will be ok. Best regards,...

sorry, but we'll have no version for the 5450 within the next month.
The scanner behaviour is complete different than expected.
But we don't give up.

Dear Mike,
Sorry, this was a mistake in the product history. That preview is only available for VLT versions like SilverFast HDR or DC.

Dear G?nther,
We want to develope SilverFast versions supporting Epson 1670 and 3170.
But unfortunately its harder than expected because of the different command structure of the scanners.
Therefore we expect a version for this models not until February.

Because we have to update a lot of versions this needs some days.
While we start uploading the new version we also update the product history.
