SF SE displays a max. of 5400 dpi on the sliding scale. Is this the real hardware resolution of the LS30? If not is it better to scan with 2700dpi to avoid interpolation. Thanks!

Is there any chance to save certain color correction say for Kodachrome slices so I may use later when scanning this sort of pix again? Couldn't find such a menue point. Thanks.

Thomas, SRD works on BW but looks to me more like the Median function in PS which is lowering the sharpness drastic at a certain level.

NIKON LS30
While the ICE function works amazingly flawless on color slides it completely fails on my old BW films. Not any scratch or dot is removed by either ICE nor SRD. Does anybody know why and how to overcome this? Thank you.
