Do i copy the "SilverFast (Epson).plugin" and then past it into the import folder in photoshop?

Sorry this might sound stupid but i have had so much photoshop trouble lately I just want to get it right first time.

Thanks Thomas. The neg a fix /expert dialog works a treat. When I adjust the global curve for all of my scans, the curve is a right angle. Looking at the dialog box the sharp right angle is on the right hand side of the box. Is this common or is there another setting I should know about? Regards, D
