HDR Studio for 64 bit hdri file handling
Am I missing something here? Tried to download and install the HDR Studio software for finishing my hdri 64 bit scans - but It does not seem to recognise the hrdi-files? In my present HDR studio software (6.6) the tiff files show in clors - but not so in the pre-release HDR Studio 8 software. Will i...

IT8 and Silverfast SE w/HDR: any use?
If I only scan negatives would there be any gain from upgrading my Silverfast SE w/HDR to IT8 calibration? In Silverfast calibration does not make any difference when scanning negatives - would this be different with HDR? I am wondering since you have an upgrade option for HDR + IT8 - but no such op...

Cannot run HDR and Silverfast at the same time
Well, actually I can. But the problem is that when I try to open a 64-Bit Tiff files in HDR (while Silverfast is running) the negative function does not work. In stead the edit screen in HDR is 100% black and there is no info in the "Negafix" window. :o If I bring up the negative as "...

Setting the iSRD default in Silverfast HDR
The iSRD default seems to be "12". However, I am going through a large number of heavily damaged negatives and really just need to set "20" each time. Is there some way to make this the default setting?

as far as i am informed this is a Standard UPS price, not going to our bank account
I asked a Sales person to answer you this and to give you a hint if there is an alternative.
Please stand by until he posts an answer here.
Any answer in sight?

Kodak 25 iso film negatives
Any hope that we will see a profile for the Kodak 25 iso film negatives or did someone try to make one themselves?

Working with scanner profiles in SF SE
OK. I made a profile using a standard IT8-chart. However, I used a "positive" IT8 transparency - and when I now select to scan a negative the profile is "greyed out" in the options. Is this because: 1) you only make a "positive" profile and then SF uses it also assigned...

Silverfast targets
Your shipping price for a target to Japan is: 67 EURO!!!!!!!!
That is not a serious price for shipping 10 g of anything to anywhere in the world...
Just use standard postal services as you do to Germany (6-7 EUROs?).

Working with frames
Would really like to either see some improvements or be better educated when working with frames in Silverfast SE plus. 1) Can I choose all frames at once and set something globally like multiscan x8? 2) Can I save a frameset with settings and everything? (I think I must be doing something wrong her...

Re: banding with Silverfast SE and Epson V700
I had a similar problem (difficult to say if it was exactly the same problem). I struck like lightning and was driving me crazy. Looking at a Epson web forum I found a lot of info on how dirt/dust or something - even something very small - at the "top end" (away from the user) of the scann...

Re: Frames Problems with film in V700
I have exactly the same problem with my 750 pro (actually the 970 Japanese model, but its the same...). Autoframes are in fact useless. I use alt + click to duplicate frame manually in stead (but I'd be very, very happy not to have to do this). The Epson software actually delivers perfectly (99.8% P...

Best results with multiscan or multiexposure?
1) What does Lasersoft suggest for color negative scanning (as a rule of thumb). I usually select multiexposure - but I'm not sure if I'm missing out by doing that.
2) Any hands-on experience from users would also be very appriciated

Re: Epson GT-X970 (= V750 pro) cannot use ICE?
Thanks. I realised that ICE does not work with b/w-pictures - and that's why the option is "greyed" out on my scanner. LOL!
