I'm using a Reflacta RPS 7200 with Silverfast SE Plus ver. 8.
When I scan normally, I can select resolutions up to 7200 ppi which is supposed to be the maximum optical resolution of the scanner. But if I start with the workflow pilot it will only allow me to select up to 3600 ppi as the 'maximum optical resolution'. Is there something odd about this scanner and the optical resolution?
Also, whenever I launch Silverfast and then either insert a film strip or a mounted slide, I get a dialogue box that says 'loading holder, silverfast will now restart' and I have to click ok and then relaunch it.

Re: RPS 7200 full optical resolution
Dear Dean,
In the Workflow Pilot the available settings can be limited.
The resolutions offered depend on the workflow you are going to use.
In normal scanmode there are no limitations.
The resolution slider allows all resolutions offered by the scanner's driver.
The yellow resolution setting is the last optical resolution.
Additionally an interpolated resolution is offered as the "red" value.
This is the last and rightmost setting.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
