I bought Reflecta RPS 7200 because it has the ability to automatically scan the entire film and not "frame by frame". The included software (CybeViewX) has this functionality (the "scan all"). It is very important to me, because the scanning process such as 30 frames a lot of time.
As many have read about SilverFast would like to buy it. I started testing available version SilverFast 8 (64bit Win7). Unfortunately I can not the result of automatic film scanning.
I am a "new" in the subject line. I've read forum posts but it is not clear whether SilverFast has such functionality.
Hence my question. Is SilverFast can automatically scan the entire movie?
If so, which version?
What to do (test version) to see how it works?
If anyone has experience - I will be grateful for the information.

Dear customer,
You can switch to batch scan mode by holding the scan button for about a second.
This will open a pull down menu where you will be able to select batch scan mode.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: Reflecta RPS 7200 - How to automatically scan negative
One question in the same line: I also have a Reflecta 7200 and use Silverfast (64bits) version 8.
When I scan Negatives in batch (through the side slot), I always get 6 scans, even when the film holds only 4 negatives. Meaning that the last negative is scanned 3 times. Where can you set the number to 4?
Thank you!
E.

Dear customer,
You first have to perform an overview scan .
This counts the images on the film.
Here you can also select (blue) the images to scan.
