Reflecta Digit Dia 4000 - Quality Problem - horizontal lines

Hallo,

zusammen mit meinem Reflecta Digitdia 4000 habe ich die Silverfast AI bekommen und habe bisher noch keine befriedigende Bildqualit?t bekommen.

Habe ich einen Konfigurationsfehler, oder kann der Scanner nicht besser, oder ist was defekt?

In dunklen Bildpartien gibt es starke Querstreifen, siehe Bild:

Kann mir jemand helfen, bevor ich verzweifel?

I suggest you want to download and install the latest update release of your version of SilverFast from our website. You might experience that this already does solve your problem.

I exactly have the same problem with my Refelcta DigitDia 4000 and Silverfast AI.

What I found out so far is that the lines disappear when you toggle off Auto- iSRD.
But I think that is not the idea.....

@ boerny: Did you already contacted the Lasersoft support? If yes, did you receive further informations on that issue?

What happened until now:
* I asked Reflecta about this problem an they said the scanner has a defect and they replaced it.
* I got it back by now and the stripes are gone.
* There is still quite a lot of noise in dark areas, but no stripes.
* about the iSRD: I had to reduce the treshold to 165. If I use larger numbers the iSRD recognises the structure of the film as dust (at least whith the fuji sensia film).
* I also reduced in the options the autopip-middle factor to -5 and 30 so that dark pictures don't get brighter - which would cause much noise.

I didn't contact Lasersoft support jet. I will test the new scanner first.

If your version of SilverFast supports it, you might try the Multiple Scan feature that LaserSoft added to help reduce shadow noise.
