Silverfast for SS4000 vs. SS120

Is Silverfast AI5.5 software for Polaroid scanners the same for the SS4000 and SS120? I would like to use the SS120 software with my SS4000. Thanks.

Barry,

The underlying software is identical. However,unless things have changed very recently you'll find that the serial number for your SS120 version will not be accepted by SilverFast when you try to use it with the SS4000.

Ian is right. The software is working with both scanners, but if you have a serial number for the SS4000, this number will not work with the SS120. You will have to purchase a new one.

It?s like buying an operating system, if you buy one for your computer and want to use it on another one, your have to buy one more;)
