I just did a clean reinstall of SF plugin r28 and still no luck. I first uninstalled SF, deleted the entire SF folder and all the SF registry keys. Then I reinstalled SF and got the same result as before. Scanning in color stalls and b/w works. I would guess it's definitely not a Pref folder issue.

I have not received the plug-in r36 please send to pptakoma@mindspring.com. I noticed it is not available for downloading from the silverfast website. Also - should we upgrade to a newer IT8 target. I now see that with the upgrade we are entitled to a new target as long as we pay shipping. Do you suggest that we do this? :x

I sent the plug-in individually to some customers so that they can see if the problem still occurs. You'll get one immediately :D The problem should be fixed.

You don't need to update the IT8 target. There should be no correlation between the reference file/target and the issue.

Bug fix in version 601r29 for PC

Postby LSI_Belli » Thu Jan 30, 2003 4:37 pm

Dear Users,

if you have a version 601r26/27/28, please download a later version where the issue has been fixed.

The problem was not correlated to the calibration but to the number of lines scanned.

Thanks for your cooperation.

I tried out the r36 today and it works without any problems. Scans look very good and no stalling in batch (file), normal, and normal (file). Tomorrow I move on to B&W negatives and also B&W positives. Anyone have any experience scanning ancient panatomic x that was reversal processed? :D
