Can I purchase Silverfast Ai software for my SS4000 scanner from a 3rd party in Europe and still get support?

Does anyone have experience with this? Anything I need to know about the serial number? Thanks.

I purchased a Sprintscan 45 Ultra at eBay from a guy from sweden about four months ago, including a 5.0 version of Silverfast. I could use the serial no. inside the box to register both Silverfast Ai and Silverfast HDR via the silverfast website without any problems and also used support without any problems..... so if you can make a nice deal........ don't hold back, just do it.
