Job Manager crashing Photoshop

I just upgraded my Silverfast and now get fantastic negative scans but every time I try and use the JM I get as far as placeing my images in the JM window. As soon as I try and do anything else, PS gives me an error (unspecified), and shuts down. Pg. 209 of the manual talks about a source file error but I don't think I've gotten that far yet.

I'm running PS 6 with a Sprintscan 120,Windows ME and tons of memory. Thanx

Dear Yakitwn,
did you install your upgrade over your old installation of SilverFast?
you should not do so. Please delete SilverFast completely (Start > settings > control panel > software) and than install just the new SilverFast once.
