I recently had a crash and re-installed Silverfast 5.2 (using with a Polaroid Sprintscan 120) as the Photoshop plug in. Now the pre-scan shows the correct orientation of my negative but when I do a final scan to a file and open it in Photoshop it is horizontally flipped - i.e. as if looking in a mirror or having the negative upside down in the holder. I then have to rotate the canvas to put it into the correct orientation.
Anyone have any idea what is going on? As I say the pre-scan seems completely normal and in the right orientation.
Thanks

Inverted Scans
The densitometer determines the orienation of the image. On the right hand side of the densitometer you will see a column of 4 buttons. The loweer button will be either a zoom tool or a crosshair. You want it to appear as the crosshair so just click it and the preview in the densitometer panel will show the full prescan frame. Simply rotate or invert this image using the one or more of the 3 buttons immediately above zoom/croshair button
