How to disable auto corrections?

All the problems with Polaroid film scanners

Sometimes (often) the way silverfast negafix interprets my color negatives is way off. However, if I move the cropping box around in the prescan sometimes it arrives at a decent color balance. I can't for the life of me figure out how to lock this interpretation of the negative in so that silverfast uses the same correction when I change the crop to scan the entire frame. Any suggestions?

I'm using silverfast 5.5.0616 with a Polaroid Sprintscan 120 and Photoshop 6.0.

Click the Option buton and got to the Auto tab. You should see a facility for altering the "Auto Frame Inset" adjustment - this is the inset used by the negafix crop Chnage it to about 30 and seee if that helps

I figured it out. In the NegaFix Expert dialog, Automatic Masking has to be disabled.
