6X6 frames with the SS120 glass carrier

Postby RSJ » Fri Apr 25, 2003 10:51 pm

I have the new glass carrier for my SS 120 and it makes great scans. I don't see the anti-Newtonian rings at all.

I do have a problem, however, getting my Hasselblad 120 negatives to line up in the frames for SF 6.0.

Is there a way to adjust the frames after doing a scan? The spacing between my negatives does not line up with the 6X6 frames after scanning. I get a perfect line up on frame 1, then a bit of the black space between negatives on frame 2, and even more offset on frames 3 and 4.

Is there a way to "tweek" the spacing that SF uses between frames?
I have a Polaroid SS 120 and a Polaroid SS 45Ultra. I use Mac G4s in my studio. I am always eager to share information with other users about scanning with Polaroid scanners.

With SilverFast there isn't any of lining up the position of the frames. Unfortunately different camera manufacturers use different frame spacing. I think Polaroid found a way to provide such a facility in their most recent version of PolaColor InSight. It would very nice if LaserSoft did liklewise.
