I just performed a minor update to a new SIlverfast 8 version. After installing the update successfully a message is displayed:
"SIlverfast has been updated. There are still files that require an update to be compatible. Silverfast will temporarily disable the outdated modules. Please update your Silverfast software for:
Plustek Family"
Well the message doesn't really tell what exactly I need to do. Can anyone help me please?
When I click okay in the message SIlverfast crashes. My scanner is an Quato IntelliScan 5000 (same as Plustek).

Re: Update to new Silverfast version prompts for more update
Dear customer,
some files probably could not be overwritten.
Please uninstall SilverFast using the uninstall app (not .sh script) in the SilverFast 8 installation directory.
/Applications/SilverFast Application/SilverFast 8/uninstall SilverFast 8.app
Afterwards directly reinstall the latest update from our website.
(Our "updates" are always full installation files.)
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
