I installed all on my PC with Windows 8 64bits.
I followed the install procedures... it never asked me if i wanted 32 or 64 versions.
After installation and registration I did some scans... Plustek 8100 worked fine alone with QuickScan.
And it worked fine with SilverFast 8 SE Plus for some few scans.
Then during a scan with SilverFast 8 SE Plus, SilverFast crashed.
I try to restart... but when I started again Silverfast there was a pop up (in French):

In english it is some thing like "SilverFast8 - Error / There was an starting error of your scanner. Be sure your drivers are correctly installed...."
I reinstalled several times. I tried to install 64 bits version, then 32 bits versions... This pop up is still there.
I cannot start SilverFast anymore!
Please can you help me? How to remove this error pop-up ?
Can I use Plustek 8100 64 bits driver with Silverfast 64bits?
How to force 64 bits version?
What is the real procedure to install Plustek 8100 and SilverFast in my environment?
