I am experiencing problems, shown on the attached image :
On the right are details on the "pre-scan" image, which correspond to the original image.
On the reft are the same details from the resulting scanned jpg image.
For example the original "black wave" quite vanished !
I get this effect on high resolution as well as on low resolution scans.
Is it a hardware or software problem ? Is there any wrong parameter setting I
don't find ?

Is this a Kodachrome film?
Certain Kodachrome emulsions are very dense and block the scanners infrared channel. Especially in darker areas. Because of this, the infrared scratch and dust removal is detecting those areas as defects. You can try lowering the detection or deactivate the infrared-based scratch and dust removal iSRD and use the software based SRDx instead.
