I'm using a Plustek 7500i and SF Studio Ai updated to latest available version; Vista Home Premium.
When I scan a slide, a dialog opens and I save it (in a place chosen by SF). Then the slide is opened in NX2 (good) for editing. After editing in NX2, I can save it where I want, likely to be an external hard disk, when I get this all figured out... This is probably a good workflow, except for that initial save. How can I skip this because I don't want to have to go and delete the files.
Using NX2, when I save I can get the choice of TIFF or JPEG, I now realize, which answers a previous post about the software not offering to let me choose this or set a destination.

Re: Saving scan results
Dear Triumphant,
During the initial save from SilverFast you can change the storage folder in the topmost line in the save dialog.
But the saving space of the image should not influence where other software can save the image.
kind regards
