PreScans Perfect Picture But Afterwards..

Postby allworknopay » Wed Feb 05, 2014 6:05 am

I am using the Silverfast SE Plus which came with my Plustek 7400 and Ive been having this problem where I prescan and I get the most amazing prescan image ever but after the prescan process finishes the setting just BLEH! too dark too green and I just cant get the image back prescaning settings. Is there a way to set the Silverfast SE Plus to Prescan and stay at the Prescaning Settings? Because BOY! thanks.

Dear customer,

Please check if you might have selected one of the 16/32/48/64 Bit HDR(i) archive outputs.
These are saved unprocessed for later processing in SilverFast HDR (studio).

Try using 48->24 Bit for normal output.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Please make sure the red scanframe is always positioned correctly in your images.

In some of the sent images you got unexposed film material inside the red scanframe.
That places the highlights in that area.

If you want that effect you should place highlights and shadows manually using the histogram dialog.

kind regrads,
Arne Ketelhohn.
