Hello,
I am new to this scanner and Silverfast, and now I need some advice.
Scanning filmstrips and slides (in auto or manual mode) works fine - until Final scan. Upon completion of the Final scan the foto shown (and filed away) is totally messed up and almost invisable behind some 'digital pattern' of varying shape. Thus, I have no way to save the scanned fotos.
Please help!!

Re: Plustek 120 Final scan problem
Dear Tor,
Are you maybe scanning B&W film?
If yes please check if iSRD is active.
The silver halide emulsion of B&W film unfortunately blocks and distorts the infrared beam of the scanner which is used for scratch and dust removal.
For this kind of film iSRD has to be switched off.
The same goes for certain dense Kodachrome films which especially show such effects in dark areas.
For these films we offer the software based SRDx.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
