Hi all
I have just bought a Plustek 8200i so am new to silverfast so this might be just down to me not knowing the software but
I have the latest drivers and downloaded the latest version of Silverfast 8 SE plus but when scanning if I sellect 48 to 24 bit I can use the IR cleaning option but if I select 48 Bit mode IR Cleaning is disabled, is this correct, if not how do I use IR Cleaning in 48bit mode. I know in v**s**n I can do 48bit mode with IR Cleaning.
Also doing a comparison between v**s**n 48bit IR Cleaning and Silverfast 24bit IR Cleaning, silverfast takes twice as long to scan as v**s**n even though the files are half the size because of the 24bit mode. Is this correct or have I got something set wrong.
Thanks for any help with this
Paul

Re: no IR cleaning in 48bit mode
Dear Paul,
You probably have selected the 48 Bit HDR output.
These are archive files which are saved unchanged for later processing in our SilverFast HDR Studio offline processing software.
For this format image altering settings are disabled.
Processed 48 Bit output is available in SilverFast Ai Studio.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
