IR scan not matching film scan?

I'm trying to use the Dust and Scratches functionality, but it seems like the IR scan doesn't line up with the film scan. Here is the original scan:

And the mask that the IR scan creates looks like this:

You can see that the mask doesn't cover the dust spots. So the "fixed" scan looks like this:

The IR scan is somehow offset from the film scan. Is there some way to calibrate it?

Dear user,

please try adjusting the Maximum offset for iSRD alignment in the preferences' Special tab.

In case you are using an Ai Studio version you can also align the infrared layer manually in the iSRD expert dialog.
