Help - I'm new to all of this

Hello there

I've just got my negatives and I've put them into the scanner and pre-scanned and the image on my screen looks perfect. However, when I actually scan the image that is saved is that of just the negative frame - as in exactly the same, size and everything.

I'm completely new to all of this and have no idea what to do. I just want the scanned image to be of a 'standard' photo size on my screen and look like the pre-scanned image.

ANY advice would be gratefully received.

Dear Anna,

Please make sure you do not close the NegaFix window and that you did not select a SilverFast HDR scantype.
HDR(i) images are raw archive images which will be saved unchanged for our SilverFast HDR workflow.
