Green cast on B&W negative scans

I have been scanning some of my B&W negatives, using the Plustek 7200.

When I scan, I set to B&W and set the film type to Kodak Tri-X. In the preview window, the positive image is OK, but, when I scan to a file, the resulting image comes out with a green cast. I have to remove this in Photoshop.

Has anyone else had this issue?

And also please check if you are not accidentally scanning your b&w images in color mode.
