I just got a Plustek OpticFilm 8100 and am trying to scan 35mm B&W negatives with SIlverfast SE plus 8 on Mac Yosemite. The prescan looks fine, but the final scan ALWAYS comes out in the negative. I have "negative" selected as the film type in the workflow. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. This is so frustrating, please help.
Considering trading this scanner in on a different one because this software is honestly pretty terrible.
Thank you much to anyone who can help..

Re: final scan always negative. help!
Dear customer,
Please check if you maybe have selected one of the 16/32/48/64 Bit HDR(i) archive formats.
These are saved unchanged for later processing in SilverFast HDR (Studio).
Using 16->8 or 48->24 Bit will result in a processed image.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn
