Hi,
I have some question around the software :
Is there any way to get a RAW format file as output ?
Is there any way to have the automatic exposure correction ?
Is there any way to remove dust on B&W slides ?
I'm not really happy with plustek at this level.
Thanks.

Dear tabasko
Yes, you have to select the 48 bit HDR or 64 bit HDRi and save your files as TIFF
Yes, pressing the button with the diaphragm
If your black and white material is chromogenic, it is possible to use iSRD to reduce dust and scratches. If the Film is silver halide based, it is not recommended to use any kind of infrared correction of dust and scratches because it can generate artefacts on your pictures.
Most of your quesitons are answere on our user manual, please click the next link to open the manual in PDF format: http://www.silverfast.com/download/docu/manual,complete_en_2006-11-27.pdf
Best regards

Thanks !
One more question, I have tried to use a second device I have with your software, it doesn't find it ! (nikon coolscan ls-40).
How can I use SilverFast Studio with my second device ?

Dear tabasko
It is not possible to operate your NIkon scanner using the module of SilverFast for your Plustek scanner. SilverFast is designed to work in modules and your license only allows you to operate SilverFast with one scanner. In this case however you can download the demo version of SilverFast for your Nikon scanner and test it. If it works and you are satisfied with the results, you might want to purchase the license for the scanner with a discount (using the serial number for the Plustek scanner) on our online store.
Bear in mind that you must connect only one scanner at a time before starting SilverFast, if you want to switch scanners, you have to close SilverFast completely, turn off and disconnect the first scanner and connect the second device, turn it on, and start the right module of SilverFast for that device.
Best regards

Re: 7600i Ai coming SylverFast Studio
Dear Tabasco,
You can navigate to the following directories and delete the indicated folders:
- Mac/Applications/ (here you delete the entire folder "SilverFast application")
- Mac/Users/Your name/Library/Preferences/ (here you will delete the entire "LaserSoft imaging" folder)
- Mac/Library/Application Support/ (here you will delete the entire "LaserSoft imaging" folder)
- Mac/Library/Frameworks/(here you will delete only the following entries: PathscanEnabler4.framework, Plustek 7300.framework, Plustek 7400.framework, Plustek 7500.framework, Plustek 7600.framework, Quato5000.framework, Quato5001.framework, Quato5002.framework and UniScan FS7200ICE.framework)
- Mac/Users/Your name/Pictures/ (here you will delete the folder called "SilverFast")
And that would make it.
Cheers
