Problems 1800i and Silverfast

I recently bought a Primefilm Scanner 1800i. I was very satisfied with the price, until I saw the results of the scans. I searched for another solution and found Silverfast AI 5.5. I tested this, and the colors are bright and the scans are excellent, only about one third of the scans, I have to redo, since sometimes it shifts the picture, or has an orange square in the scan. Very bizar, because when I rescan the picture, it's OK.

Does anyone know the solution to this problem ???

The problems you describe have been fixed in 5.5.1r10. The framing was always off center in the older versions of Silverfast. The Orange (or red) bands have also gone, I think this was a communications screw up between the scanner and thge processor.
