PowerSlide 3600 support?

I have a PIE Power\slide 3600. Meachnically its great, the tray advance is smooth and the slides don't get jhammed or anything. ITs not even too terribly slow at 3600 dpi 16bit color on USB 2.0 480Mbs attached to a PIV.
The problem is that the supplied Cyberview X-MS software is primitive iin terms of imaging features , their noise filter predicatbly softens up EVERYTHING etc.

I gave the trial version of Silverfast a go but it doesn't find the scanner. Indeed, this model is not listed as a supported scanner.

Any plans for something soon to support this unit?

Any update on the 3650 , which I'm considering as a 2nd unit to bulk scan film strips.
