I just noticed that the PIE link from your homepage leads to Mac version 5.5.1r5 while Windows is stuck at 5.5.0r22. Most other scanners are now up to version 5.5.2.rX
Moreover, the PIE1800 scanner and Microtek filmscan have been removed from the Windows update list. So, has LSI discontinued Windows support for these scanners?

Oh, I hadn't looked at the Microtek page but here on the PIE page:
http://www.silverfast.com/product/PIE/209/en.html
And here on the download page:
http://www.silverfast.com/silverfast/up ... pc-en.html
PIE is not well represented
I would try the Microtek version as it should be just the same as the PIE but my password is dedicated to the PIE version.
