Using DSLR with Silverfast 8

Postby jkjod » Fri Mar 25, 2016 8:53 pm

I am curious if I am able to use the NegaFix software on my own Tiff files from a digital camera. I have been using a setup with a DSLR for my B&W negatives, but color correcting is not up to the level I would like in Lightroom/Photoshop. It would be great to just be able to use Negafix. I'm just not sure if its even possible to the software with no scanner connected. I only have a Plustek 7600 and this would be for 6x6 negatives. Thanks in advance.

Dear customer,

SilverFast HDR (Studio) would allow you to load JPG, Tiff and linear DNG images and convert those with NegaFix.
A demo version is available here on our website.
You can purchase it as an upgrade to an existing scanner software as part of the archive Suite (SE) bundle.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
