Eurocore Hi-Scan 143 compatibility?

Postby justruppert » Fri Nov 22, 2002 9:38 pm

I own a Hi-Scan 143 drum scanner build by Eurocore in 1997. I recently upgraded most of my computers to OS 10.2 and I am now searching for a scanning software capable of driving my scanner on the new OS. I read on www.flaar.org that a previous version of SilverFast was capable of driving this scanner but now cannot find the HiScan in your list of supported scanners and was therefore wondering wether SilverFast 6 stil supported it.
Thanks
Ruppert

SilverFast HiScan

Dear Ruppert,

sorry there is no SilverFast for HiScan as the communication with that company after an intial cooperation failed. We recommend to scan into raw data (48bit tif) with HiScan and use SilverFast HDR to do all the corrections.

Please try the HDR demo:
https://www.silverfast.com/show/silverfast-hdr/en.html

Also there are tutorials from Ian Lyons on how to use HDR:
https://www.silverfast.com/show/sf-onlin ... ws/en.html

Hope that helps!
regards
