Update to Maverick OSX safe?

This is not so much as to report a problem encountered, as well as the important question (that can turn into a problem): "Does Silverfast run without problems on Apple's new OSX Maverick?" I hesistate to upgrade my computer to the new OSX-version for fear that SilverFast will stop working. Is there an answer already?
