Silverfast SE and OSX 10.5.6

I am using Silverfast SE 6.6.04c with OSX 10.5.6 and an Epson 2450 scanner. It worked fine in the past, but after updates to OSX it now freezes Photoshop CS4 at the end of the scan. No image shows up and Photoshop and the SE plugin is just frozen. Can anyone tell me what's happening?

If I force quit out of CS4 and SE and then just use the SE standalone it scans fine.

Dear Rick,

is it possible that you have some plugins form NIK Software installed ?
This is mostly causing these are mostly causing the described problem, NIK is working on a fix for this issue.
