Hi
I installed SilverFast Ai IT8 6.6.1r6 on Mac OS 10.6.2. It works via the Launcher, but the Plug-in is not listed in Photoshop CS4.
The SilverFast (QuatoXFU).plugin Alias lies in the Import-Export folder, so does the Twain Plug-in.
Other Twain devices work correctly.
Any remedy?
Thanks
Patrik

Dear Patrik,
normaly SilverFast should have created an Alias in the Photoshop CS4 plugin directory, if this is however not the case you would need to do it manually
by creating an alias of "SilverFast (QuatoXFU_CS3).plugin" and dragging it in the CS 4 plugin directory.

Wow, that easy!
It's not really obvious that CS4 requires the CS3 Plug-in moved manually, especially after the installer installs another (QuatoXFU).plugin. I thought that this one only needs to be replaced with the CS3-Version in case someone still uses CS3. Maybe I missed something in the installer notes. So both are needed?
Anyway, it works now, thanks a lot.
