I'm having a lot of trouble with silverfast on plustek 8200i on el capitain - imac. Sometimes the scan works all the way to the finish but most of the times it stops scanning saying "warming up ir", "warming up for me scan", "cannot find scanner" or "unknown error". I have tried to clear framework, uninstall-reinstall, latest update, softare reset etc. etc. Nothing helps. I am starting to wonder why I'm paying for this software as everytime it's updated a new issue arrive!?

Dear user,

please make sure you are using the latest SilverFast update.
Otherwise try installing the latest driver from the Plustek website using this installer.
If that does not help pleas contact us through the "Request online support" in the SilverFast Help menu.

Kind regards,
Arne
