Scan Printing Issue on Mac

iMac G5 desktop/1.8 GHz/512 K L2/1.25 GB SDRAM/
Epson Perfection 4180 Photo scanner
Canon Pixma IP4500 printer

In my accounting workflow I scan multiple checks for deposit which I format to fit within the printable 8-1/2 x 11 inch letter frame. When I go to print the output scan, whether by Print Tao or by printing a scanned pdf version in Preview, the printer only prints the top half or two-thirds of the scanned image and then it spits out the sheet. Any suggestions concerning what is wrong???

Dear powerseed,

Never heard of this problem before, are you using current Printer drivers ?
very strange does this happen with both printers ?
Are you able to print the scanned file from any other application?

Thanks Thomas...must be the Canon driver as it printed OK on my B&W HP Laserjet.
