Saving to shared folders

Postby MartinN » Thu Jun 06, 2013 4:05 pm

Hello

I can't figure out how to access my shared network folders in the save dialog in OS X Lion.
I can go to my local HD, my account folders and so on but not to my NAS that is visible
in Finder. How can I save to the NAS ?

Dear Martin,

when you click on the folder button at "scan dimensions", you can choose a network folder on the left side in the window.
Please be sure that it is connected correctly.

Yes this works, the network folder can be activated in the Scan Dimensions panel. However the Save dialog still behaves quite strangely when addressing shared folders/disks (/Volumes/.....) like if I want to browse other shared folders I have to step up from the selected directory and go to /Volumes. It would be nice to have a better Save dialog where /Volumes could be selected from the box and not only from the drop-down. Worth some new development ?
