Reflecta Crystalscan 7200 + Sierra

Postby angelozehr » Fri Sep 01, 2017 9:52 am

Hi

I just tried to scan some photos on my Reflecta Crystalscan 7200. When I started Silverfast SE 8 it said that some modules required an update so I installed the following Software:

Code: Select all

SilverFast SE Version: 8.8.0r10
Standalone
Reflecta CrystalScan 7200
macOS 10.12

But when I start the software, a warning appears:
Not all scanner modules are up to date!
Silverfast has been updated. There are still files that require an update to be compatible. SilverFast will temporarily disable the outdated modules. You can configure
- Place modules on an ignore list. No further update messages will be shown for these modules.
- Delete modules you do not use anymore.
Select some modules and and configure by pressing the wanted button or press OK to continue.

Scanner Family: Braun, Reflecta, PIE family
Scanner Framework: scannerpiefs
Is ignored: Checkbox

My options are: Remove selected from ignore list, Add selected to ignore list, Delete selected or OK.
(I added a screenshot of the warning)

What do I need to to do get my scanner to work again?

Dear user,

this happens when SilverFast is not able to overwrite all files.
First uninstall SilverFast using the "Uninstall SilverFast 8.app" in
/Applications/SilverFast Application/SilverFast 8/

Then directly install the latest update from our website. Our updates are always full installation files.

Kind regards,
Arne
