problems with 8800f under osx 10.5.8

Hi everyone.

I have problems running Silverfast in my computer.

Both standalone and Photoshop applications do not function at all.

Through Silverfast Launcher, the application does not run and through Photoshop, I take the following message: "Could not complete the import command because a requested property value could not be found."

I have Silverfast (CanonSDK-SE) (vers. 6.6.1r2), MacOSX 10.5.8 and I use Adobe Photoshop CS4 (Version 11.0.1).
My scanner is Canonscan 8800f on an iMac 3,06 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo.

Any ideas?

Dear Customer,

is it possible that you have plugins by NIK Software installed ?

These Plugins cause a behavior similar to what you describe.
