Hi,
I need your advise on this matter.
I have a Silverfast Ai version for my Nikon coolscan 4000.
Recently, while scanning and with iSRD, I got a picture with this problem. It happened already for every scan I do now. Kindly refer to the image attached.
I had thought it could be the problem with my scanner, but scan results with other software did not show any problem. when I did a scan without the iSRD, the pictures turned out normal. So, I figured it could be the problem with the iSRD. Kindly advise.
Thanks

Re: problem with ISRD?
Dear ag_neo2254,
The artifacts depicted on your image are caused by the silver particles in the film emulsion. These cause dispersion of the infrared light, hence the picture looks like it does.
In this case you should not use iSRD. Instead you should scan without infrared correction
Cheers
