OSX language problem and SF

Hi,

I wanted to try SF SE demo but everytime I installed the Demo and wanted to run the program on OSX it did not wor. The launcher started to run the program but suddenly everything loading stopped and shut down. I'm using Epson 4490 now and wasn't able to run SE with it.

Recently I decided to but Plustek 7400 but was affraid to do it because of SE. I was looking for some information and found that wneh I switch the language from Polish (which I use) to English it works (at least with Plustek). So I decided to try this out with me Epson. What a suprise - it works properly !!

Now is my question. Do you know how I can fix SE to be able to use the program under Mac OSX in Polish? I don't want to switch the language everytime I want to scan my films.

At least I know finally where the problem is and thanks God it's not the matter the new scanner I plan to buy.

Dear Michal,

the current version of SilverFast you will unfortunately have to change the OS language to English. Only SilverFast 8 works on a Mac with the Polish language.

Does it mean that if I buy the scanner (and SF attached) i'll be able to upgrade the current version to the newer ver. 8 for free? Which version is sold with Plustek 7400 scanners?

Or I'll have have to pay some extra money? It matters cause I'm thinking about installing Lion...

Which version is sold with Plustek 7400 scanners?

It comes with SilverFast SE+.
